Xiao Long Bao 小笼包 Challenge

This post is not a food review nor an online game. But a test to you. I received this email some time ago, then is a series of photos and then ask me a question. But I think that is too difficult, so I ask the question first, then you see the photos and tell me the answer. The question is: "how many xiao long bao are there in the photos?". I doubt anyone can give me an answer.

This is how I make 8 transactions

In order to get $40 from HSBC, I must make 8 transactions on my new HSBC credit card within this month. And this is how I get it done on last Sat.

Get clothes, clothes and clothes again........ plus a dinner, and a small stuff from Best Denki, only 5 transactions. So what to do? Hehe.. here I went to Guardian.... make the rest of the 3 transactions.

Guardian.. first one $2.2 .. then $3... very paiseh.. get one $7.5.... I am sorry Guardian, but I got no choice, only you and Watsons accept credit card for any amount. And I can't find the Watsons in Vivo (at basement, now I remember).

China Hainan University Female Hostel Photos Case

It is reported in Zao Bao http://realtime.zaobao.com/2008/06/080627_20.shtml that in China Hainan a "teacher" university (中国海南师范大学), a female student discovered her own naked photos while surfing net. And this leads to the discover of the case that female students that stay in hostel have their photos being taken without they knowing it. About 40 girls are affected, and over 200 photos were taken.

But in the first place, why those female students are walking around in the hostel without wearing clothes? I mean you should be wearing if you don't want others to see it or take photos. As today camera are very powerful. So those of us stay in HDB, is the same also, never assume others can't see you. Just like bus stop case, people can take very clear photos even from the opposite bus stop.

Hawker Hygiene Rating vs The Food Taste

Always see the big A B C D on the hawker center stalls or restaurant. Those represents the cleanliness of the food. A stands for good, but that is the official language. Look at this chart to see how the foodies interpret the rating.

It is quite true that we always find that those famous stall always have rating only C and D. And those really taste good one are those who getting C or D!

So go for C & D next time.......

1) the airport staff issue boarding pass to him
2) the police officer at the entrance to departure hall let he in
3) the custom officer clear his exit (AFTER HIS FINGER PRINT IS IN ERROR!)
4) the security guard at the boarding gate let he get on board

Amazing! He get caught at Vietnam. These can happen after the Mas Selemat case!

Juiciest Post of the Week - 3rd week of June

This is the last week of june, pay day soon!!!! I post a poll at stomp forum, asking how many people suft net or write blog during office hour, 9 out of 10 say YES!

Anyway, why I will visit stomp is mainly due to some funny photos being posted in the stomp last week. I know that some people dont really like stomp (I don't like it in the past also), especially they post some photos of someone dig nose on the MRT train. But on the other hand, I think stomp do a good deed as in if you kena cheated (e.g. in a recent case where a guy bought a used game station with the price of a brand new machine) or some public agency fail to perform, only stomp manage to help you. However, if only stomp publish those "serious matter" then definitely no one will visit it, so it has to published some funny stuff like "nose digging" to attract readers. Anyway, I just find out that the stomp forum is extremely active, the most ever active forum I ever seen.

So what is interesting in the stomp? Someone send in this photo, and complaint that the hawker is sexually disturb her. Funny isn't it? This really a good example on how Singaporean like to complaint.
