I can't imagine, if one day, I meet an accident and become handicap. I think I would rather die than handicap. Really hard to imagine a day without hand or cannot walk. But look at this man, he is the MAN. He never gives up for being handicap. He not even ask for mooney from others. He works for that.....

His "leg" is just like our hands, can use tools well..
Almost any thing.. he can get that done by legs....

Olympic Series 4 - One unpleasant event

Accident do happen during the games. And definitely no one would like to see that. Somemore the sportmen / sportwomen been spent so much effort over the past 4 years, just wait for this momeny. In addition, they represent the country, so you know how many eyes are on them, and how much pressure they are getting. Take a look at this one sad game, I sure he feel very sad....

Life is short, we don't have that many 4 years, I think all sportmen / sportwomen can only take part 3 to 4 Olympic game, so miss one chance, really miss a lot.

Olympic Series 2 - How enthusiasm are these people

Having Olympic 2008 at Beijing is definitely something big for China. I think this is the biggest thing after the return of Hong Kong. With the growing economy of China, it is now a big and developed contry. I am now is the right time to have Olympic in China, as China got the resource to show to the world that how strong it is. And look at these people, they are so enthusiasm to the game, obviously this shows that people in China are not just busy work for the money, they got the time and energy to enjoy this sport event too.

But then... climbing up on the tree is something really............. just hope no one drops from the trees and get injured.

Do you know how many types of credit cards are there?

I always put some credit cards deal on my blog, because I always like to get the free gift or voucher provided by the credit cards. Usually there will be facial, spa, dining etc. But you ever wonder how many types of credit cards are there? And do anyone really compare all different credit cards and review what are the advantages. I try to search online for the Singapore credit card, but no luck.

Then I saw this website Yourcreditnetwork.com. It specializes on informing consumers about credit card offers, how to use credit wisely, and occassionally posts humorous insights into the wacky world of credit. But it is targeted on the USA. Apparently, USA is a greater market. And you will be surprise to the types of credit cards available to them.

My understanding on the USA credit card is that, as long as you have good credit history, you can easily get one. And most of them are free of annual fee. Unlike Singapore, you need to call in to ask them waive the annual fee, and sometimes they even ask you to charge it once so that they can waive for you. My friend once go to Banana Republic in USA, so straightaway she can get a credit card from Banana Republic, and charge all the clothes to that card with immediate discount! So nice...... here you need fax in 6 months salary, income tax, cpf contributions etc... troublesome.....

Do you know what is gambling news?

With Singapore going to have our first formula one (F1) car racing and casino cum integrated resort soon, I think soon besides 4D and toto, there are many things that people can bet on. I do know people like bet football, not sure if anyone bet on F1 or not. Frankly speaking, I am not so familiar with the F1 game, as they compete on so many races, then how the points are added. 12 Tips to save Petrol

With the soaring of petrol price in Singapore and Malaysia... so these tips may help those who are driving...

1 ) Pump up your tyres
Keeping your tyres inflated is one of the easiest and most important things. Saving petrol means saving money one can do to improve fuel economy. If a range is recommended by the manufacturer, the higher pressure should be used to maximize fuel efficiency. Deflated tyres run hot and jeopardize safety. It will also cause the tyres to wear out prematurely, affect the vehicles adversely, and hurt the fuel economy by increasing the rolling resistance.

2) Drive at moderate speed
Avoiding high speeds on open roads resultsin safer driving and better fuel economy. In highway driving, over 50% of the power produced by the engine is used to overcome erodynamic drag. Drag and thus fuel consumption increases rapidly at speeds above 90km/h. On the average, a car uses about 15% more fuel at 100km/h, and 25% more fuel at 110km/h compared to when it is doing only 90km/h.

3) Clean the air-filter regularly
Clogged air filters increase fuel consumption by restricting airflow to the engine, and thus should be cleaned/replaced when necessary. Clogged air filters can increase fuel consumption by up to 10%.

4) Use thinner tyres
Tyres with thick width will improve the handling of your car. However, it will also increase your car's fuel consumption. Thicker tyres mean more rolling resistance! , and thus will consume more fuel.

5) Start up the car properly
With today's cars, it is not necessary to prime the engine first by pumping the accelerator pedal repeatedly.Do not crank the engine excessively This only wastes fuel.When starting the engine, idle it no more than 30 seconds to warm it up. An engine will warm up faster on the road. However, avoid sudden acceleration before the engine has warmed up sufficiently.

6) Drive in high gear (overdrive)
The engine runs most efficiently between around 1,500 and 2,500 rpm. To maintain these low revs you should change up through the gears as soon as practical and before the revs reach 2500 rpm. For automatic transmission cars, you should always switch on your overdrive to help save fuel. Overdrive will allow your engine to change gears at lower revs. It also puts your transmission into an "economy" mode and lets it engage the final "overdrive" gear when cruising to ! keep the rpms extra low, thereby increasing fuel economy.

7) Travel light
Avoid carrying any unnecessary weight in your car. On the average, every 50kg added load in your car will increase fuel consumption by 2%.

8) Anticipate traffic ahead
A driver can reduce fuel consumption by up to 10% by anticipating traffic conditions ahead and adjusting the speed accordingly, and avoiding tailgating and thus unnecessary braking and acceleration. Accelerations and decelerations waste fuel. Braking and abrupt stops can be minimized by not following too closely and slowing down gradually when approaching a red light.

9) Avoid strong acceleration
The fuel consumption remains at a minimum during steady driving at a moderate speed of about 90km/h. Keep in mind that every time the accelerator is hard pressed, t! he engine goes into a "fuel-enrichment" mode of operation that wastes fuel.The vehicle should always be gradually and smoothly accelerated. Using cruise control on highways can help maintain a constant speed and reduce fuel consumption.

10) Minimise aerodynamic drag
Additional parts on the exterior of a vehicle such as roof racks and spoilers, or having the window open, Roof racks are bad for fuel economy increases air resistance and fuel consumption, in some cases by over 20%.

11) Don't let your engine idle
Minimize fuel wasted in idling by stopping the engine whenever your car is stopped or held up for an extended period of time. Idling more than a minute consumes much more fuel than restarting the engine. By having the engine switched off, you will save more fuel than is lost from the burst of fuel involved in restarting the engine. The net increased wear and tear from this practice is negligible.

12) Use the air-con sparingly
Air conditioners can use about 10 per cent extra fuel when operating. However, at speeds of over 80 km/h, use of air conditioning is better for fuel economy than an open window.

What going to do this weekend? Two missions......

Sleep really early last night, end up I am awake 730am this Saturday morning.

No sun, seems like raining soon. No special plan for this weekend, maybe will do the following:

1) Buy newspaper, see got any discount or promotion. Sometimes find myself really stupid paying 80 cents to watch advertisement. They should pay me for reading those advertisement.

2) Checking my mobile number, as effective 13 June 2008, with full mobile number portability, existing mobile number with current service provider will automatically be the default mobile number and will not be able to use original number (ie. the one from previous mobile service provider).

2.5) *******NEWLY ADDED****** Should be 3 missions... I only remember this when I write my next post on HSBC insurance. I need to sweep my new HSBC credit cards 8 times in order to the get 40 dollars rebate.

3) What else? Maybe shopping, watching TV, sleeping, eating, surfing net, playing game..........

Personally I am ok for gay or lesbian to be together... but since you are not going to give birth, so whether get married or not is not so important?

Who knows, maybe I am wrong.....

But for me, if not you going to have kid, no point to get married right? Then can change partner easily, no need go for divorce etc.... many trouble...........

Hi.. thanks for the comment from one98two... I expect it to be 80% and higher is due to my personal and friends' experiences, and the stories that I heard from all around.

I wonder if you stay or walk around in the hostel? I have seen gals walk around the hostel braless (and of couse is obvious kind that you can spot easily). I have listened the sound out from the room or bathroom. I even listened a real story on 3P.

I am sure no one really cares abt Virgin thing in today society.....
